My first badminton tournament in the last 14 years!

DomDom invited me to be his partner at his company's doubles badminton tournament. I glady accepted the invitation. We found time to practise anywhere from once a month to once a week. The hardwork paid off, handsomely, in the first round.

We finished 1st in our group during the round-robin stage. We won all 3 games. The first game was a surprise. We thought it would be a tighter match and we'd probably lose but we won by 8 points. The second game we were probably a little too relaxed and underestimated the opponents. We ended up winning the 2nd game only by 2 points.
The third game, we're back to our old form, finishing at something like 15-3. And then we headed out to grab some lunch before the 2nd (elimination) round began. To make long story short, we got creamed totally in the 2nd round -- 15-0!

Brief update

Wow, it's been almost 3 months since my last posting. I knew some of you were checking this page daily for updates.

What happened in the last 3 months? I wrote too much -- too many assignments, projects, and case memos. I couldn't drag myself to writing anything non-essential.
So if you received an email or MSN message from me, consider yourself a VIP.
